Meraki Theatre Productions provides opportunities for students to engage in drama workshops in an accepting and collaborative environment. Our workshops focus on providing opportunities to have young voices heard and their ideas brought to life.

PUPPETRY BASICS:
(Between 1-4 Sessions)
AGES 5 - 13
Learn the basics of puppetry with limited supplies needed! In this workshop, you will learn ways in which you can bring simple puppets to life through character creation, movement exploration and of course, imagination. These workshops can be taught in as few as 1 session and as many as 4 independent sessions and can be adapted to any targeted age group between the ages of 5 - 13 years of age.
CREATIVE STORYTELLING:
(Between 1-4 Sessions)
AGES 5 - 13
Learn new and unique ways of creating and telling stories through drama! These workshops focus on collaboration and teamwork as students each share their own unique ideas to build and create stories to share. These workshops can be taught in as few as 1 session and as many as 4 independent sessions and can be adapted to any targeted age group between the ages of 5 - 13 years of age.
INTRO TO IMPROV:
(*Flexible & Adaptable* Any amount of sessions)
AGES 8 - 18+
Learn an introduction to improvisation as we journey through the rules of improv and exercises to help students/participants make quick decisions and follow their instincts! This collaborative workshop introduces participants to improv exercises that will help build trust and teamwork while allowing students to let loose! These workshops are very flexible and can be taught for as little or as long of a session as needed. This workshop can be targeted to ages 8 - 18+ (this is a great workshop for workplaces, teambuilding, and adult professional development as well!)
MUSICAL THEATRE:

AGES 4 - 18+
Let your inner Broadway dreams shine in our engaging and adaptable Musical Theatre workshops. Sing, dance and act your heart out in this workshop that can be adapted for virtually any age group (we even take song suggestions!) You’ll learn simple vocal warm ups, have the freedom to create your own characters and even learn a fun dance combination! This workshop is very flexible and can be taught for as little or as long of a session as needed.
DRAMA EXPLORATION:
(*Flexible & Adaptable* Any amount of sessions)
AGES 5 - 18+
This workshop is an exciting introduction to theatre and igniting our imaginations. Participants will learn a variety of drama exercises that build trust, build teamwork, trust, provide a space for students' ideas to be heard, gain confidence, sharpen your acting skills - all while having a blast! These workshops are very flexible and can be taught for as little or as long of a session as needed. This workshop can be targeted to ages 5 - 18+
PROJECT PLAY:
(**8 Sessions**)
AGES 7 - 18
Project Play is our wildly popular 8-week long workshop where students will share ideas, create characters and ultimately build their very own collective theatre play where all of their voices are represented and heard. This workshop can be slightly altered (shortened or lengthened) depending on individual and group needs.
