WHAT WE DO
Meraki Theatre is a Winnipeg-based theatre company on a mission to make meaningful theatre experiences that create change and nurture compassion. We are Winnipeg’s only student-driven theatre company!
We offer theatre classes, camps, and workshops throughout the year that empower our students. We provide opportunities for students to engage in the arts in an accepting and collaborative environment. Our classes focus on providing opportunities to have young voices heard and their ideas brought to life. We operate, create and live on Treaty One Territory.
We were recently honoured to be listed in Ace Burpee’s Top 100 Most Fascinating Manitobans list for our work with youth mental health and theatre

WHAT DOES “MERAKI” MEAN?
Meraki [mer-ah-kee] is a Greek word used to describe doing something with soul, passion, creativity, or love — when you put “something of yourself” into what you're doing, whatever it may be.
