SHOW DESCRIPTION:

Meraki Theatre presented “What Is The Problem.” written and performed by Sarah Critchley, Lizzie Rochon, and Amélie Tétrault as a part of our Free Mental Health Arts Week in November of 2023.

“What Is The Problem.” is a powerful and thought-provoking play that explores the complexities of relationships, love, and mental illness. Alice has been planning the perfect evening for her first-ever girlfriend, Catherine, to meet her childhood best friend, Maddie. What could go wrong?

This original new work takes us on a rollercoaster journey through Alice’s mind while touching on anxiety, self-doubt, and the fear of being alone. Through humor and vulnerability, “What Is The Problem.” reveals how insecurities and fears that can challenge even the closest of bonds.

With a mix of heartwarming moments and hard-hitting truths, “What Is The Problem.” is about being there for one another, even in the darkest of times.

AGE RECOMMENDATION:

Due to Mature Language, Sexual Content, Physical Violence and Mental Health Content, this show is recommended for AGES 16+.
